Don’t let the appearance of the Chinese Chef’s Knife fool you. It looks large in size, but it is light in weight, versatile, and slim. To some people, this knife resembles an American meat cleaver, but its purpose is to chop vegetables and fruits with its straight edge blade. There are many more uses for this highly versatile knife like scooping and transferring chopped vegetables from the cutting board into a pan. The sharp tip can peel soft skins, the flat part of the blade can smash garlic, and the spine can pound and tenderize meat. This knife is ideal for cutting and dicing vegetables and fruits.
