Description
Dexter Russell Sani-Safe 3 3/8″ Clam Knife 10453 S129
A clam knife is designed to efficiently pry open and remove the muscle from a clam. It is important that a clam knife is not confused for an oyster knife. Oyster knives are sharp on all sides of the blade, making it a dangerous knife to work with clams. A clam knife has a rounded tip which can be used for scooping and two different edges on the blade. One side of the blade is dull while the other side is about as sharp as a butter knife. This is done so that you can push through the clam without cutting your hand. You’ll absolutely love these clam knives, even a quahog (hard clam, round clam, hard-shell) clam won’t stand a chance!
